I had the opportunity to collaborate with Apple Playschools, a nonprofit early education organization, to create a series of architectural renderings for their upcoming site. The project involved producing high-resolution digital illustrations based on architectural drawings, showcasing three indoor classroom spaces and an outdoor play area.
These renderings are designed to be used across multiple channels, including web, print, and merchandise, to help the nonprofit in recruiting staff and enrolling new families before the completion of the site. This project plays a vital role in their mission, allowing them to visually communicate the look and feel of the new space to prospective educators and families, addressing the critical need for childcare in their community. The cost savings from the renderings will help Apple Playschools offer a scholarship to a family in need.
These blueprints served as the foundation for my illustrations, along with a chart detailing the furniture that will be purchased for the classrooms.
I presented the client with a mood board showcasing various architectural drawing styles. They selected the option in the top left, as it best aligned with their existing branding, which is fun and playful.
