I created a festive Fourth of July merch collection for H-E-B, celebrating all the must-haves for the perfect backyard hang. The design highlights classic cookout essentials you can grab right off H-E-B shelves—tortilla chips, guac, hot dogs, condiments, corn, chili, jalapeño poppers, and cold beverages, basically everything you’d want to load up your plate with on the Fourth.
The illustrations are bold and playful, all decked out in red, white, and blue to capture the spirit of the holiday. The design is applied across tote bags, picnic plates, napkins, and a cozy picnic blanket, all with that signature H-E-B warmth and charm. It’s cheerful, Texas-proud, and made for soaking up the sun with good food, good friends, and a whole lot of flavor.
For the base of my illustrations, I used reference photos of actual H-E-B store items, tracing over them in my own stylized way to give each product a playful, hand-drawn look.
